GREG H. WALKER, CPP, ARM, the principal consultant, has extensive experience in law enforcement, corporate investigations, risk management, security management in both the public and private sectors exceeding 35 years, including the practice of law for over 25 years.
He is Board Certified in Security Management (CPP, Certified Protection Professional by ASIS International (American Society of Industrial Security, International -- the CPP designation requires approximately one full year of study and classes and the passing of a comprehensive written examination, as well as meeting experience requirements and committing to a code of ethics). He also holds the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation from the Insurance Institute of America’s Center For Advanced Risk Management Education. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the American Bar Association.
He is admitted to practice in all courts of the State of Texas (Law License # 20701850), to the United State District Court for the Southern District of Texas, and to the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He is a registered Security Consultant with the Texas Department of Public Safety’s Private Security Board (# DD-00608) and is a licensed Risk Manager through the Texas Department of Insurance (# 104581).
A former Federal Agent, he is a frequent guest lecturer at both the Baccalaureate and Masters degree level university programs and is presently an Affiliate Instructor, teaching Security Law, in the Masters Of Science in Security Administration at Southwestern College. He is actively involved in security related organizations at both the national and local level, including the Anti-Terrorist Advisory Council of the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Texas and serves as the Public Safety & Law Enforcement Liaison of the Houston Chapter of ASIS, International.
REBECCA (BECKY) S. WALKER, CPCU, ARM, a senior consultant, has extensive experience, over 33 years, in traditional risk management and major commercial insurance, including a wide range of complex risk transfer and risk financing techniques, as well as litigation management and employee benefits. She also has considerable experience in corporate investigations. She holds the insurance industry’s premier designation of Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter from the CPCU Society. The CPCU designation requires several years of study and classes and passing a series of rigorous undergraduate and graduate-level written examinations, meeting experience and ethical requirements, and agreeing to be bound by a strict code of professional ethics. She also holds the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation from the Insurance Institute of America’s Center For Advanced Risk Management Education. She is a licensed Risk Manager (# 104582) and is also a licensed Local Recording Agent (Insurance Agent/Broker) (# 713939) for General Lines and Property & Casualty through the Texas Department of Insurance. She is actively involved in insurance and risk management organizations and just completed two years of service on the Executive Committee of the Houston Chapter of the Risk & Insurance Management Society (RIMS).
